Ross Lehuta

Ross is the Director of School Operations at KIPP Montbello College Prep. He helps manage all things non-instructional for the school and supports the staff with academic instruction for students. Ross began his education career as a K- 3 Special Education teacher at University Prep, teaching for two years. He then transitioned to help found the 4th Grade program at U Prep as a Literacy Teacher and also served as an Operations Resident the next year. After his time at U Prep he was a Instructional Coach and Education Consultant for Generation Teach, a teacher prep program in Denver, helping coach and grow a cohort of literacy teaching fellows. He graduated from Regis University located in Denver with a BA in Sociology and Peace & Justice.

He earned his ME in Urban Education and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado Denver. Ross is originally from Sacramento, California but has lived in Denver for 9 years now. When he is not working, Ross enjoys adventures in the mountains, eating donuts, reading on his front porch, hanging with friends/family, or taking driving excursions in his dream truck.
