MS Astrophysics, University of Denver
Originally from Southeast Michigan, Rachael relocated to Colorado in 2011 for graduate school. While working as a graduate teaching assistant and tutor for the physics department at DU, she realized that teaching/tutoring rather than research was what she wanted to do. After graduating in 2015, she went to teach and tutor astronomy and math at Colorado Heights University. From there, she expanded to teach Statistics and College Algebra at Platt College of Aurora as well as Astronomy and Physics with Colorado Community Colleges online. Rachael also enjoys running outdoors and knitting.
