Ken, a fourth generation Colorado native, graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and a minor in biochemistry. He obtained a master’s degree in pathology from the Duke University School of Medicine after many years in medical laboratory research. Yearning for more human contact, he then moved into clinical research before settling into teaching anatomy and physiology, chemistry, microbiology and pathophysiology at Denver area colleges. Ken enjoys teaching one-on one and returned to Peak Learning Solutions in hopes of finding more opportunities to influence young scientists. When not teaching, Ken enjoys windsurfing, skiing, fly fishing and science fiction.
