Josh grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and he always had an intense scientific curiosity. During his first year in college Josh worked in a restaurant to pay his bills, but he wanted to find a more satisfying job. He began working as a self-employed private tutor in the fall of 2007 and immediately discovered his love for teaching. Since 2007, Josh has tutored math topics ranging from algebra 1 to ordinary differential equations. Josh has also tutored physics at the high school and university levels, including working with IB physics students and AP physics students. Josh graduated from NAU in December, 2013 and relocated to Denver. He joined Peak Learning Solutions in January 2014 and is planning to work as an educator until he is ready to attend graduate school to earn a Ph.D in physics. Josh’s ultimate career goal is to become a university physics professor. Josh spends his free time mountain biking, skiing, rock-climbing, and playing guitar.
