Leigh-Ann Ahrenberg grew up in Virginia where she received her B.S. from Radford University and then went on to receive a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. She has worked in all levels of education, starting with her graduate assistantships at Radford University where she worked alongside the Career Services Director. Wanting to get back to the beach after six years in the mountains of Radford, VA, she moved to Wilmington two days after graduation and has been here since! Once in Wilmington she worked for two years as the school counselor at a K-8 charter school and is currently in her third year as a school counselor at Hoggard High School. She loves working at the high school level and in her free time she is often reading, working out, or relaxing at the beach.
